According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) the fastest growing industry sector in Australia is the Home Based Business (HBB) Sector and at last count represented approx. 1 million businesses in Australia. This growth is evident in the Limestone Coast with approximately 1 in 4 enquiries handled by the Small Business Field Officer of the Limestone Coast Regional Development Board (LCRDB) originating from HBB’s. An issue HBB operators face is often working alone from home, where you have few people to bounce ideas off. To help solve this problem we bring you the Limestone Coast Home Based Business Network!!

The Limestone Coast Home Based Business Network was established in August 2005 to allow owners of Home Based Businesses to get together to share their expertise, brainstorm ideas and connect with a large network of business people in the same boat. The HBB network currently has a diverse cross section of businesses in the network ranging from accounting services and picture framing to accommodation and employment services.
